The Umko Rumble Enduro experience is not too far away. A weekend of fun near the Umko River, just past Richmond at the special Nyala Pans location.
We are really looking forward to hosting all of you on the 19th and 20th August. Please see attached posters to use on your socials - and invite friends and family to come and enjoy a spectacular weekend together.
Umko Rumble Event Format:
• Pay for One day of riding and ride for Two days.
You can select between:
- The technical GPS tracks x 2
- The Bronze GPS tracks x 2
- Ride one loop on Saturday, and ride a different one on Sunday
- Challenge yourself and try ride both on the same day. Serious Roof of Africa training guys can push for 2 loops of each!
Distances still to be confirmed, but each loop will be between 40km and 60km.
DIY refuel is back at the start/finish paddock for both loops - where the race village is based.
The novice & youngsters can enjoy a fully marked "Pink" loop of approx 25-30km.
For those travelling and wanting to spend the weekend, please note that all Lodge rooms are fully booked, but there is still space in one of the tented bungalows or at the stunning Long Pool camp site, but book fast - it's filling up.
Alternatively, make a day trip for one or both of the days.
It's approx an 80-minute drive from Dbn and 40 minuts from Pmb (see link below for directions).
Out of respect to the farmers and landowners, we have capped riding space to 400 riders, which will see an A & B batch split between the two loops each day, so you won't have 400 bikes on same loop.
We are already close to 50% full after entries went live only 3 weeks ago. And we are expecting space to probably sell out before the event, so please jump online and pre enter. |
